MusicBiz.Studio ("we," "us," or "our") operates AnalyzeMySong (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Service. By using AnalyzeMySong, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
- Email address. Collected when you create an account or sign in. Used to identify your account and send transactional messages.
- Audio files. The songs you upload to the Service. These are stored temporarily and used exclusively to generate your analysis.
- Analysis results. The AI-generated output from your uploaded audio, stored in your account so you can review it later.
- Payment information. When you purchase credits or a subscription, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number or full payment details — Stripe handles all payment data securely. We do store a Stripe customer ID and transaction records for your account history.
- Usage data. Basic information such as the date and time of analyses and credit transactions, used for account management and service improvement.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account.
- Provide and operate the Service, including generating song analyses.
- Process payments and manage your credits and subscription.
- Send transactional emails, such as magic link sign-in messages, payment receipts, and service notifications.
- Respond to your support requests and inquiries.
- Improve the Service through aggregate, anonymized usage analysis. We do not use your individual audio files or results for this purpose.
We do not send marketing emails without your explicit consent, and we do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. Audio File Handling
Your privacy regarding your music is important to us. Here is exactly how your audio files are handled:
- Upload and storage. When you upload a song, the file is stored in private, authenticated cloud storage provided by Supabase. Files are not publicly accessible.
- AI processing. Your audio file is sent to the Google Gemini API for analysis. Google processes the audio to generate the analysis results. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for information on how Google handles data submitted to its APIs.
- Retention and deletion. Audio files are retained in our storage for up to 30 days after upload, after which they are automatically deleted. Your analysis results (the text output) are retained in your account until you delete them or close your account.
- No AI training. We do not use your audio files to train AI models or build datasets.
4. Data Sharing
We share your data only with the third-party service providers necessary to operate the Service:
- Supabase — provides our database and file storage infrastructure. Your account data and uploaded audio files are stored on Supabase servers.
- Stripe — processes all payments. Stripe receives the information necessary to complete transactions in accordance with Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- Google (Gemini API) — your audio files are sent to Google's Gemini API to perform the AI analysis. No other personal information is shared with Google through this integration.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party for marketing or advertising purposes.
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security practices to protect your data:
- All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS.
- Audio files are stored in private, authenticated storage — they cannot be accessed without a valid, signed URL tied to your account.
- Passwords are never stored; we use magic link and OAuth sign-in methods only.
- Access to production databases is restricted and access-controlled.
While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no security system is impenetrable. We cannot guarantee absolute security and encourage you to use a strong, unique email address for your account.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data, including any stored audio files and analysis results.

7. Cookies
We use session cookies solely for the purpose of maintaining your authenticated session while you are signed in. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.
Session cookies are deleted when you sign out or close your browser session.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
